… and the whole class went silent as he tried to make us understand what he meant.

kaleigh-marie asked: Hi! I was wondering if you could help me. I'm currently a vocal performance major in college but lately I've been thinking about changing it to history. What's the major like? What could I expect?
If my experience switching from a performance major to a history major holds true for you, you should expect a lot more reading, a lot more writing, not as much class time, possibly more free time. Replace your rehearsal time with library time. Depending on the structure of your programs, the amount of information you have to process in a short time can seem pretty insurmountable, but give it a few weeks and your brain will readjust. Expect to do a lot of independent work.

sovietcigarettesandstuff asked: For the pal who sings red army songs: I'm a graduate in Russian, and I do that quite often to force myself to walk straight when I'm drunk. It works :D
