True story. He said this upon founding out we were a group of English and/or History students. He thought we were farmers or Spanish students, when the university teaches neither of those things.

The History Major Heraldic Beast will post anything pertaining to any field of history. The beast is aware that right now this blog is mostly western European/American history, but those have been the submissions popping up in the inbox. Don't be afraid to submit your wry observations about the Mali empire, or the Ming dynasty, or Clovis culture, or the effects of Soviet collectivization on the indigenous people of northeastern Siberia. They will be posted.
If it's tagged "submission", I neither made it nor wrote the commentary beneath it, unless the words "The Beast Says" are involved.
